Villa 'M' in Korkià, Lipsi island
It's a villa in four separate volumes that communicate externally. The whole complex is built in a plot of land of 4.000 m2 on the beach of Korakiá in Lipsi, with a breathtaking view over the bay and the open sea. It is also used as a rental villa per week.
It was built in 2009-2010, in the upper part of the plot, in six levels, all communicating through terraces and stairs. The central volume consists in two bedrooms with living room and open plan kitchen/dining room and a laundry/storage space in the back. The property also has a studio with a bathroom and two more independent rooms with their on suite bathrooms. Within the plot we have created a road leading to the beach and a stone-paved path that leads to a "belvedere" with a pergola and sitting area. All stones used to create walls, paths and other stuctures are recuperated from the land itself during excavations. On the main terrace of the house we had the idea to create a small Jacuzzi like pool with a breathtaking view of the open sea, for the hot days and nights.
